Traditional chickpea hummus

About the recipe


  • 1 box of ready-made chickpeas or approximately 3/4 cup of cooked chickpeas

  • 1/4 cup tahini or replace with 1/4 cup olive oil

  • Juice of 1 1/2 lemon (or to taste)

  • Salt and garlic powder to taste


There is nothing written on the hummus. Everything is to taste, gentlemen... more salt, less salt, it's up to you. Chickpeas go well with everything! Simply put all the ingredients in a blender or processor and you will have hummus. If it is very dry, you can add a little water.
